FISHING LICENSES
A sport fishing license is required and must be in the possession of all persons 16
years of age or older while sport fishing, and/or clam digging. Sport fishing licenses and
King Salmon tags may be purchased from a license vendor (Pacific Wing is a vendor) or by mail
from the ADF&G Licensing Section, PO Box 25525, Juneau, Alaska 99802-5525,
(907) 465-2376, or online at www.admin.adfg.state.ak.us/license.
The Alaska Department of Fish and Game has an excellent web site that will answer just
about every question on the subject of fishing and hunting in Alaska. Information about licensing fees,
how to find guides, copies of the regulations, and all types of interesting information is available.
