Cabins with Access Requirements

Big John Bay- Requires a minimum tide of 15 feet for aircraft to get to cabin, otherwise
it is a 1 mile hike through mud.

Castle Flats- Requires a minimum tide of 15 feet for aircraft to get to cabin, otherwise
it is a 2 mile hike in mud.

Castle River- Aircraft can only fly to Castle Flats cabin, then a .7 mile hike on an easy
trail to the Castle River Cabin. (see above for requirements into Castle Flats)

DeBoer Lake- Due to high altitude in mountains, fog and high winds can prevent
scheduled pickups or drop-offs, sometimes for several days. Be prepared to have some
delays.

Devil's Elbow- Requires a minimum tide of 16 feet, otherwise it is a half mile hike.

Kadake Bay- Requires a minimum tide of 18 feet to get to cabin, or a 14.5 foot tide with
a one mile hike. Otherwise it is a 2-mile hike in mud.

Kah Sheets Bay- Requires a minimum tide of 14.8 to get to cabin. Aircraft will not fly to
cabin on a lesser tide.

Spurt Cove- Requires an incoming tide to get to cabin.

Swan Lake- Due to high altitude in mountains, fog and high winds can prevent scheduled
pickups or drop-offs, sometimes for several days. Be prepared to have some delays.

Towers Arm- Requires a 17 to 18 foot tide. A 4-mile hike in mud is required at low tide.
